Honeywell opens new customer centre in UAE

Honeywell International has announced the opening of its new 5,500m2 Customer Acceptance Centre in the Mussafah industrial zone of Abu Dhabi.

With up to 150 Honeywell and third-party engineers, the facility will be able to test systems destined for the Shah sour gas field development, a principal project of Al Hosn Gas, a joint venture between Abu Dhabi’s Adnoc and Occidental Petroleum.

Honeywell control system cabinets, marshalling cabinets and third-party equipment will be received at this facility. Pre-factory acceptance testing (Pre-FAT) will be conducted by the Honeywell team.

It will complement Honeywell’s other five existing Customer Acceptance Centres in the UAE and Saudi Arabia. The company is working on establishing new Centres in Oman and Egypt.
