The Clean Air conference series has taken place in Portugal since 1991. The 2011 event will take place at Instituto Superior Técnico in Lisbon. Since the first edition, the conference has provided a good opportunity to promote exchange of information between academic and industrial participants.The conference will discuss strategies to reduce the impact of fossil fuel utilisation or the use of alternative fuels including, the development of CO2 capture technologies, the improvement of equipment operation to maximise energy utilisation and fuel processing technologies. The conference addresses a large range of applications ranging from small scale appliances and engines for transport to industrial and power plants.
